Teachers deal every day with a mixture of young people – all of them very different when it comes to being able to absorb and retain maths data successfully.
With directed use of the Maths2XL lessons, many students of different learning styles and speeds can study at the same time under one teacher’s guidance but without that teacher’s physical presence.
Depending on their level of skill, students can gradually catch up with the rest of the class or consolidate and expand upon their knowledge base. This will inevitably improve overall grades.
Class teachers can work with their students to help put together the right lessons for the study sessions. Then the student independently takes the appropriate Maths2XL lessons from the school intranet, during school study periods or free time.
The software needs no special training and takes only two to three minutes of brief instruction!
Using the Staff/Admin login to the Results & Summary gives teachers the facility to track each students' use of the programme including their progress through the topics and achievement in each lesson. Monitoring ensures that teachers can identify any need for further guidance.

THE PERFECT REVISION TOOL
Containing Key Stages 3 and 4 of the UK maths curriculum, all of the lessons studied from age 11 to 16 are available to take again.
Using Maths2XL, teachers can easily plan realistic and carefully directed revision studies, well in advance of important exams for their students.
As well as reviewing the years’ work by reading over notes, the students can now concentrate on their weak areas by taking whole lessons again. They can steadily work through the maths rules and formulas at their own pace, consolidating their knowledge and strengthening their areas of weakness.
As people revise this way, their confidence increases. They realise they can work at their own speed, repeating any necessary pieces, until they finally fully understand the work.
